I Like Thursday- looking forward to Christmas

Linking up with Not Afraid of Color for I Like Thursday!

I like Christmas. (Not as much as Thanksgiving, but it's still a nice holiday.)
Cookie likes Christmas as well; he just doesn't like having his picture taken.

I like having stretched my boundaries. I don't like the actual step of stretching my boundaries, and there's a HUGE exertion to do so, but the reward is great. I submitted this quilt to a local fiber art show the past weekend- I find out Friday if it was accepted.

I like new shoes. I found these on the clearance rack at my local DSW.

I like this bank. I bought him as a Christmas gift, then started second-guessing myself, so I kept him. Because he's cute!

I like emptying thread spools. It feels so productive. Even when it's from filling a bobbin.

I love your tree project! The quilting gives it such beautiful texture! I hope it is accepted into the show.

Hi Michele,
I had to laugh at the empty spool! You are right though, it is a show of productiveness and fun. I love Christmas, too - not as much as Thanksgiving but it is great to all get together. Happy Holidays to you and your family. ~smile~ Roseanne

What fun likes! I agree with the stretch - not always fun going through it, but so glad when it's done. That tree looks terrific.

Huzzah for fun finds and empty spools (except when they empty out with only 5 inches left to sew!).

I have an owl thing so adore your bank! I keep my empty spools...apparently there are clever things you can do with them. LOL
I like reading about trying to challenge yourself and your Tree hanging is beautiful.
I have a cardinal around here since moving here and also had just the one at my old place and know that saying about them so I've always thought it meant something special. It's a nice thought.
Hope you enjoy next week very much.

empty spools! I love them too! I kept a bunch of them in a special jar but threw them away to move. I'll have to amass some more. I like to keep them for winding embroidery floss on. Happy Christmas my friend, my long distance friend now that we're officially in CO.

I agree emptying a spool is awesome. Love the tree. What do the leaves with the names and ages represent? Cute owl, and shoes are always awesome.
