I like Thursdays 2018, Week #7

Linking up to Not Afraid of Color. Hop over there for more Thursday likes.

I like having somebody else make me breakfast. The youngest decided to cook for us Sunday morning. Afterwards, he confided that he wouldn't be doing it again soon!

He made BIG pancakes.

This is what we were presented with 😀 - pancake, scrambled eggs, and bacon.

I like Valentine's Day. I'm making these little hearts; eventually I'll hang them in my office and hope the homophobic coworker comments on them.

I like raspberries. I've been having this for dessert the past few days- graham crackers with marshmallow fluff, a few chocolate chips, and raspberries.

Hi Michele,
How wonderful to have someone make breakfast for you! Looks delicious, and doesn't it always taste better when you don't have to make it for yourself?! What a great idea, putting raspberries on a graham cracker with some fluff to hold them on. Yum! This is the second post I've read with food in it this morning. Y'all are making me have to stop and go get my breakfast. ~smile~ Roseanne

I love anyone making food for me of any kind any meal. Your breakfast looks fantastic. I don't know what to say about your snack...marshmallow fluff is a secret love of mine...if I have it in the house it calls my name and I mete it out in teaspoons. I'm going to give your combo a try.

Good score on the fabrics the other day! I am sure you will find a use for them in just the right project.

It is good to have someone else cook! We had a pancake night on Tuesday with friends from church. We rented the kitchen/foyer of the community centre as it is getting too crowded when when we have everybody here at our house! But all these years, The Thoughtful Man is the one who cooks the pancakes. (or if a larger crowd, half of them.) When we got married, I said I didn't know how to do British pancakes - more like crepes. I did make him those on different times, but for pancake night, he has always done the British ones. They are good with lemon juice squeezed on and sugar sprinkled.

raspberries? ARe raspberries out in stores now? yum! major yum. I remember trying to pick them off the bush once, and looked like I fought tigers after. The thoughtful son... good boy! And it's a skill to have all the components come out the same time and be hot! Love the valentines... and the hope that your coworkers will open their hearts to know that love is love and people love each other. Who could that hurt?

Fluff and Graham crackers - I may need to get some right now (and your additions are perfect, too). Someone else to do the cooking often makes a meal taste better. I love the hearts, too.

It looks to me like he did a great job with breakfast! Also your dessert looks great, too! Your fabric hearts are a wonderful idea - maybe you will soften that person's heart.
